Imagine Think Act makes us imagine what is possible and put those ideas into action in ways that demonstrate care for our co-workers and the environment. To achieve this, we own the four ITA values that describe what we expect of everyone who works for and with us.
We lead
Our leaders set the game plan and help others to follow it.
Leaders and their behaviours create culture. They have an immediate as well as a longer term effect on teams and ultimately the organisation, both through what they do and what they don’t do. Our leaders demonstrate the JDN standards, such as our ITA principles, and support our co- workers in achieving those standards.
Stay above the line.
ITA is our positive approach of project management: ‘Imagine what is possible’. When facing tough situations, our leaders stay above the line, focusing on what they can control and on how to move forward.
We communicate
Communication is the life blood of our company.
Communication is very important to share knowledge and to allow ideas and plans to grow and to be put into action. Effective communication is two-way and respectful.
We communicate in a clear way so that tasks are correctly understood.
We highly value clear communication. We tailor it to the needs of our audience and we use it to create understanding between the diversity within our Group.
We focus
We focus on the right risks at the right time.
We have identified seven critical operations that have a well-known risk for serious incidents. In every phase of our Imagine Think Act approach we never lose sight of these critical risks.
As such, we ensure safe operations and prevent incidents that were experienced in the past within the company.
We have the right to stop and rethink.
We take risk based decisions to create a safe workplace. If we notice a breach of the rules for critical operations, we have the power to stop the activity and to rethink the plan.
Rules can be customized for your project.
These rules can be custom-made for your project. We always verify our rules for compliance with your or local requirements. This can only lead to stricter but never to a lesser standard.
We own it
We set clear expectations.
Our plan defines the roles and responsibilities of everybody involved. Everybody knows the plan and knows what to do. The methodology we use in our plan always meets the expected JDN standards on which we never compromise.
We plan and lead the plan.
The person in charge demonstrates the expected JDN standards, sets clear expectations, provides meaningful feedback and acts promptly in response to opportunities and challenges. That is the key to success.
